I'm an educator. Does this cost me anything?
Great question! Probably not but these arrangements are based on the project. Let's discuss!
Where are you based?
I travel all over, having visited 50+ colleges, but call Highland Park, Illinois, my home. My primary work is conducted online but also have office space for in-person consultations.
Why should I care about transfer or undecided students? Do I have clients in these categories?
First: what is transfer credit? Let's consider AP, IB, CLEP, High School Dual Credit, 2-yr College Credit, 4-yr College Credit. Any of your students fit in these categories?
Undecided? I like to look at this in three buckets/categories: Major; College; Career. Also, remember that roughly half of all undergrads change majors prior to graduation and a quarter of these do it more than once. And... your students are swirling about accumulating credit from all over (think summer coursework here).
The implications are huge. Your organization, business, clientele, school - this most likely represents close to half of your population.
How will we communicate?
I'm open to what might be most accommodating but:
I will set up a Slack space for us for day-to-day communication. You will receive your own Whereby.com room for virtual meetings. as well as a shared Google Folder. Did I mention that I also do in-person meetings if local to the Chicagoland area? This is about delivering quality work and consultation with effective, honest, timely communication.
